Terms of Service

1) Overview & Agreement

These Terms govern your use of VK Analytics app, its websites, dashboards, APIs, and integrations (the “Service”). If you use the Service for an organization, you warrant that you’re authorized to bind that organization.

2) Independent Relationship to TikTok

The Service is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by TikTok. Use of TikTok functionality via the Service must comply with TikTok’s developer and platform rules, including app review, scope/permission limits, brand & design rules, and Community Guidelines.

We request only the minimum scopes needed for declared features and keep those scopes approved per TikTok’s review requirements.

3) TikTok Data We Access (with your authorization)

• Profile/account metadata (e.g., handle, avatar, bio)
• Follower counts and audience metrics
• Engagement & video analytics (e.g., views, likes, comment counts)
• Other fields exposed by approved endpoints (e.g., Display or Data Portability API)

Exact fields depend on scopes you grant and TikTok product approvals.

4) How We Use Your Data

• Provide analytics, insights, benchmarking, and reports
• Generate summaries, coverage, and answers using AI and traditional methods
• Operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service (e.g., anti-abuse, reliability)

No sale of TikTok-originating personal data. Use is purpose-limited and consistent with TikTok developer requirements and our Privacy Policy.

5) AI-Specific Disclosures

AI outputs can be probabilistic and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them. We implement least-privilege access and security controls consistent with TikTok’s developer guidance.

6) Your Responsibilities

• Use the Service and TikTok data lawfully and consistent with TikTok policies (including Community Guidelines)
• Connect only accounts you’re authorized to manage
• Respect API limits; no spam, scraping beyond permitted APIs, or DoS
• Follow TikTok content-sharing rules (e.g., no added watermarks/branding on posts to TikTok)

7) Display, Embeds & Attribution

If you display TikTok content or statistics externally (reports, pages you share), follow TikTok’s permitted display/embedding patterns and any attribution or deep-link requirements.

8) Data Retention, Caching & Deletion

• Retention: Only as necessary for the stated purposes, legal obligations, or TikTok program rules
• Refreshing: We may refresh analytics in line with permitted APIs and scopes
• Deletion on request: We will delete authorized TikTok data within a reasonable period unless retention is required by law or TikTok policy
• Revocation: If you disconnect/revoke authorization, we stop new collection and delete previously collected TikTok data from active systems within a reasonable period (subject to required retention)
• Collection methods: Only via permitted TikTok developer tools/APIs (no hidden scraping)

9) Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (e.g., access controls, encryption in transit, monitoring) and will address security/privacy communications consistent with TikTok guidance.

10) Ads, Commerce & Other TikTok Programs

If you use TikTok advertising or commerce features, you must comply with those programs’ separate terms. Our Service is independent from TikTok For Business / Ads / Shop.

11) Prohibited Uses

• Unlawful profiling, discrimination, or surveillance
• Re-identifying anonymized data or building unlawful dossiers
• Exceeding rate limits or bypassing scope/review requirements
• Adding watermarks/branding or otherwise violating TikTok posting rules

12) Availability, Disclaimers & Liability

Availability: TikTok API access depends on TikTok availability, rate limits, and scope approvals; we may throttle or cache to comply.

Disclaimer: The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, the accuracy/completeness of analytics or AI outputs, or continuous availability of TikTok APIs.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenues, goodwill, or data. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the fees you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability.

Indemnity: You will defend and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of TikTok data, violation of law or TikTok policy, or content you submit/post via the Service.

13) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
